1 · Owner — create access
- Open PUNCH Free signup (instant Free HR — not Full emPOWER approval) and create your workspace.
- You land on Free HR (5 seats). Upgrade later for Paid HR or Full emPOWER — dual CTAs stay separate.
- Confirm your organisation name, then invite at least one staff member with a shareable invite link.
2 · Staff — install & sign in
- When Google Play is live, install PUNCH - Attendance, HR + Tasks (developer: emPOWER).
- Until the listing is public, use the build your owner or admin shared through the sales TEST channel — not a public APK page.
- Sign in with the credentials or invite the owner created, then allow location access (and camera, if selfie punch is required).
Staff never buy anything inside the app. Seats are purchased by the owner on the web, so a staff member who cannot sign in usually needs a seat rather than a payment.
3 · First punch
- Open Punch from the home screen.
- Confirm a GPS fix outdoors or near the site entrance.
- Capture a selfie if your company requires it, then submit.
- You should see a clear success, or a specific rejection reason — accuracy, offline, or policy.
4 · Day-two habits
- Complete or create the tasks assigned to you.
- Use basic leave and attendance self-service where enabled.
- Admins: review attendance on the web, and upgrade when you need salary, grace rules, trends, or continuous GPS.
5 · When Free is not enough
Product CTAs say Upgrade to Paid HR for salary, grace, trends, continuous GPS, and seats beyond Free — and Upgrade to Full emPOWER for CRM, finance, stock, purchase, and quotations. Never “Premium”.
